I have been serving as pastor of Pilgrim Church since September of 2000. I have served in ministry for over twenty years, most recently for fourteen years in Las Vegas, Nevada. I received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Chicago and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. My wife, Vivy, and I have two sons. Peter is in college at St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland. Matthew is a fourth grader at Copper Hills Elementary. I lead a congregation that has been worshipping, praising, learning of, teaching about and serving our Savior and Lord Jesus since 1901. We have life abundant in Jesus Christ and we endeavor to extend that life through life in our every action and word. Come, enjoy our warm fellowship and join us as we serve God's people in Fresno and throughout His world. |

After completing my Master of Divinity at the
Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary I came on full-time staff
at Pilgrim church. My many faceted role at Pilgrim includes
working with the children at Dayton Square Apartments, spending
time with the youth who regularly attend Kuppajoe as well as
coordinate the volunteers who come each Friday night, administrate
the youth ministry team, lead the junior high Sunday School
and Youth Group, and assist Badveli Ara in the leading of worship
on Sunday mornings. |
